Who we are
Brent and Brittany Hall are the photographers and filmmakers behind Hall of the Wild Studios, based in New Mexico. With over two decades of combined experience across documentary film, outdoor/action sports media, and brand storytelling, we bring both the technical skill and field experience to deliver high-quality footage in demanding environments, caves, mountains, deserts, and everywhere in between.

SW Geophysical — Cave Documentary
Produced a science-driven documentary on the evaporite caves and karst of southeastern New Mexico, a little-understood landscape that plays a critical role in the region's hydrogeology, and one increasingly threatened by petroleum extraction, mining, and ranching. A background in geology, Brent's original field before turning to photography full-time, meant understanding the science as well as filming it, in an environment unforgiving of people who don't know what they're doing: desert landscapes, darkness, tight passages, technical rope work.
Action & Commercial Photography
Started with lodge and property photography after a renovation. Returned the following year for something different: mountain action photography, shooting alongside the resort's professional riders on advanced terrain, parks, and rail setups — work that required riding the same lines as the athletes, camera in hand, to get the shot. A multi-year relationship built on being able to do both.
Zia Rides — Event Coverage
Multi-day coverage of Southwest mountain bike racing events, including 24-hour endurance races. Full-day shooting, fast-turnaround editing, and the stamina to keep shooting when everyone else is exhausted too.
